Abstract

During the COVID-19 Pandemic, the learning proccess was carried out online or learning from home. The learning media used must be interactive and fun to maintain student learning motivation. In this study, an Augmented Reality-based learning media was developed for the introduction of pneumatic components in class XI grades of the Department of Industrial Electronics Engineering at SMK Negeri 5 Kota Bekasi. Augmented Reality is an interactive technology that combines the real world and the virtual world in the form of two or three dimensions that are projected in a real environment in real-time. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model which includes the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation stages. The results of this study are (1) AR-based learning media for the introduction of pneumatic components developed based on the R&D method with the ADDIE model; (2) Media feasibility test by material experts, media experts and instructional design experts with the results of the assessments was classified as highly feasibility; (3) Testing the media to students through on-to-one trials and small group trials with the results of the media assessment was classified as highly feasibility too.
