Survei Model Project Based Learning Dalam Meningkatkan Soft Skill Pada Program Teaching Factory

Pesatnya perkembangan Industri 4.0 menuntut lulusan Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) untuk memiliki kompetensi non-teknis atau soft skills yang mumpuni di samping keterampilan teknis. Namun, siswa di SMKN 26 Jakarta seringkali menunjukkan sikap pasif dalam komunikasi serta inisiatif kolaborasi yang terbatas selama sesi praktik. Fokus utama dari studi ini adalah untuk membedah bagaimana penerapan metode Project Based Learning (PjBL) di lingkungan Teaching Factory (TeFa) mampu mendongkrak kemampuan interpersonal siswa, terutama dalam hal kerja sama tim dan cara berkomunikasi. Menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain survei deskriptif, data dikumpulkan dari 17 siswa program keahlian Teknik Manajemen Perawatan Otomotif melalui kuesioner skala Likert, wawancara, dan observasi. Riset ini dijalankan lewat dua tahapan siklus guna melihat sejauh mana perkembangan siswa terjadi. Pada pengamatan awal di siklus pertama, rata-rata kemampuan komunikasi baru mencapai angka 50,93 (68%) dan kolaborasi di angka 49,33 (66%). Namun, setelah adanya perbaikan pada pola pengajaran di siklus berikutnya, hasil yang didapat melonjak drastis; skor komunikasi naik ke angka 62,27 (83%) sementara kemampuan kolaborasi melesat hingga 66,27 (88%). Hasil ini membuktikan bahwa integrasi PjBL-TeFa efektif dalam membentuk karakter profesional melalui replikasi atmosfer industri nyata dan dinamika peer learning. Model ini sangat direkomendasikan bagi pendidikan vokasi untuk menjembatani kesenjangan kompetensi interpersonal yang dibutuhkan oleh industri otomotif modern.
