MENERJEMAHKAN BUKU PANDUAN PERJALANAN WISATA BERBAHASA MANDARIN SEBAGAI UPAYA MENINGKATKAN PELAYANAN DI CV SAHABAT NUSANTARA SEJAHTERA

Abstract

This article is entitled "Translating Chinese Travel Guidebooks as an Effort to Improve Services at CV Sahabat Nusantara Sejahtera". The practical work activity will be held from November 1, 2021 to February 1, 2022. The purpose of this internship is to translate an informative Chinese-language travel guide book as a way to improve services to Chinese tourists at CV Sahabat Nusantara Sejahtera. The data collection method used by the author is the method of observation, interviews, literature study, and internet browsing. The author in translating uses the communicative method as a translation method, reduction technique and deletion strategy. There are three stages in the translation process, namely analysis or understanding, transfer, and restructuring. The result of this practical work is an informative Chinese travel guide book for Chinese tourists. The results of the translation are given to CV Sahabat Nusantara Sejahtera so that it can be used to improve services to Chinese tourists. The benefit of translating this travel guide book is to help CV Sahabat Nusantara Sejahtera improve services to Chinese tourists, and make it easier for Chinese tourists to understand the contents of travel guide books.
