Abstract

This article is entitled "Translation of Chinese Culinary Tourism Booklets as a
Media for Increasing Tourism Promotion at the Yogyakarta City Tourism Office".
The aim of article is to translate Chinese-language culinary tour booklets as a
promotional medium for Chinese-speaking tourists in getting to know the
culinary tourism of the city of Yogyakarta. This is because based on data from the
Yogyakarta City Tourism Office, the number of Mandarin-speaking tourists
visiting the city of Yogyakarta is 36.79%. Therefore, the presence of a Chineselanguage culinary tour booklet can increase the promotion of the Yogyakarta City
Tourism Office towards Chinese-speaking tourists
