The Development of Child-Friendly Educational Tourism in Taman Mini Indonesia Indah

Development in the tourism sector must be balanced with the fulfillment of children's rights. The concept of child-friendly playspaces can be realized in tourism activities with an educational concept. This study aims to determine the form of educational tourismdevelopment by applying child-friendly tourism indicators The method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The results showed that Taman Mini has various facilities and rides that support child friendly educational tourism. This can be seen in the many types of educational tours that can be used as a means of learning and playing. Various aspects of child friendly indicators have been implemented by Taman Mini, including: (1) Management policies in the form of child-oriented SOPs, (2) Special services for children and available children's play facilities in several attractions, (3)There is a security system and health facilities to ensure the safety and security of children, (4) Has special facilities for children, suchas nursing rooms. Recommendations given are (1) Develop special facilities for children in accordance with the category of child protection, (2) Make rules governing the implementation of child-friendly tourism and socialize to visitors the importance of protection to children while traveling.References
