E-Book Based Problem Based Learning to Improve Student's Critical Thinking in Science Learning in Elementary School
Abstract
In the era of rapid technological development, especially in education, the use of innovative learning media
is crucial for teachers to attract students' attention. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of E-Books
based on Problem Based Learning in improving students' critical thinking skills in science learning in
elementary schools. The study was conducted on elementary school students in Jagakarsa District, South
Jakarta, using the Research and Development (RnD) method. To measure the impact of E-Books on students'
critical thinking skills, researchers used pre-tests and post-tests as evaluation instruments. The results of the
study indicate that the integration of E-Books based on Problem Based Learning can improve students'
critical thinking skills through digital media innovation, interactive narratives, educational videos, and
practice questions that support deeper science learning.Keyword: smartphone addiction, elementary school
