PENERAPAN MODEL DISCOVERY LEARNING DENGAN MEDIA POWER POINT PADA PEMBELAJARAN KOMPONEN EKOSISTEM UNTUK PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR PESERTA DIDIK KELAS V SDN 3 PARAKAN

Abstract

Learning media is a set of supporting tools used by teachers to communicate with students. Media can make students active during the learning process. One of the media that can be used by a teacher is Microsoft PowerPoint. The learning process in the classroom, the teacher still uses powerpoint media which is still monotonous, which makes attention less and tends to be passive towards learning. In order to avoid the inactivity of students in learning, it is necessary to develop powerpoint media combined in a discovery learning model. The powerpoint media developed requires a feasibility assessment so that it can be used in the learning process, especially on environmental pollution material. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) which is carried out for at least 2 cycles, the subject of the research is 34 students of class V SD Negeri Parakan 3, Samarang District, Garut Regency with 15 male students and 19 female students. . The result of this research is that the application of discovery learning model with power point media can increase student learning motivation and student learning outcomes class V SD Negeri 3 Parakan as evidenced by an increase in student learning motivation scores and the average value of student learning outcomes. Increasing Student with observations from Cycle I of 60.00 in Indonesian subjects while in Science subjects 74.701 aspects are fulfilled 73.68 cooperation 70.56  while cycle II is 89.41 in subjects Indonesian, 93.53 in science subjects aspects that are fulfilled 94.74 cooperation 88.20
