Abstract

Moral character needs to be instilled in students whose implementation is still questionable in various schools, especially elementary schools. This qualitative study aims to find out how the implementation of instilling students' moral character through fairy tales from Elementary School 0406 Aek Tinga Village. This research involved elementary school teachers 0406 Aek Tinga Village who were positioned as research subjects. This type of qualitative research with a description approach. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Checking the validity of the data using observation persistence, data triangulation. The results of this study informed that the implementation of instilling students' moral character through fairy tales at Elementary School 0406 Aek Tinga Village was in the good category, this was in accordance with the results of an interview with the class 3 teacher Mrs. Sosa Rina, S.Pd. Following up on the findings in this study, storytelling can be used to educate students' character in elementary schools, especially moral character.
