ANALISIS KEBUTUHAN TERHADAP PENGEMBANGAN BAHAN AJAR E-MODULE PADA MATA KULIAH PEMINDAHAN TANAH MEKANIS

Abstract

ABSTRACT

This study aims to analyze the need for developing teaching materials in the form of e-modules in the mechanical earthmoving course in the building engineering education study program. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with research subjects of 30 class 2019 students who have completed this course. The data collection technique used is a questionnaire. Data analysis in this study consisted of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The survey results showed that mechanical earthmoving learning still seemed ordinary, the teaching materials used were limited to Ms.'s presentation slides. power point, and students also have a visual learning style so they need teaching materials that contain writing, pictures, and videos such as e-modules. The results of the analysis show that most students really need e-module teaching materials and agree that e-modules can make it easier to understand the material. The results of the literature study show that learning about mechanical earthmoving still needs to be improved by developing teaching materials that are more interactive and interesting. Therefore it is necessary to develop teaching materials in the form of e-modules in mechanical earthmoving courses.

ABSTRAK

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebutuhan pengembangan bahan ajar berupa e-modul pada mata kuliah pemindahan tanah mekanis program studi pendidikan teknik bangunan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan subjek penelitian 30 mahasiswa angkatan 2019 yang telah menuntaskan mata kuliah tersebut. Teknik pengum[ulan data yang digunakan adalah angket. Analisis data pada penelitian ini terdiri dari reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil survey menunjukkan pembelajaran pemindahan tanah mekanis masih terkesan biasa saja, bahan ajar yang digunakan terbatas pada slide presentasi Ms. power point, serta Mahasiswa juga memiliki gaya belajar visual sehingga membutuhkan bahan ajar yang mengandung tulisan, gambar, dan video seperti e-module. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar mahasiswa sangat membutuhkan bahan ajar e-module dan setuju bahwa e-module dapat lebih memudahkan pemahaman materi. Hasil studi litelatur menunjukkan pembelajaran pemindahan tanah mekanis masih perlu ditingkatkan dengan pengembangan bahan ajar yang lebih interaktif dan menarik. Oleh sebab itu perlu adanya pengembangan bahan ajar berupa e-module pada mata kuliah pemindahan tanah mekanis.
