KAJIAN LITERATUR : KOMPETENSI QUANTITY SURVEYOR DALAM BIDANG KONSTRUKSI UNTUK PENERAPAN GREEN CONSTRUCTION DI ERA GLOBALISASI

Abstract

ABSTRACT
The process of globalization is currently growing. The development of the era of globalization causes every
country to compete to carry out development. Continuous development which is supported by the implementation of construction projects every year causes an increase in the resulting construction waste. This case can be minimized by carrying out green construction or sustainable construction. Unfortunately, Indonesia still lacks a competent workforce in sustainable construction, one of which is the Quantity Surveyor (QS). For this reason, it is necessary to produce QS who have the competence or ability in accordance with the application of green construction. This study aims to understand the competencies that must be possessed by QS in sustainable construction projects. This study was conducted using a descriptive qualitative approach through a literature review of journals. The results of the study show that there are 7 competency indicators in terms of knowledge, skills and attitudes that must be possessed by QS. The results of this study can be used as a basis for developing appropriate education and training programs for QS
candidates as well as improving QS practices in the sustainable construction industry in Indonesia.

ABSTRAK
Proses perkembangan globalisasi saat ini semakin pesat. Berkembangnya era globalisasi menyebabkan setiap negara bersaing untuk melakukan pembangunan. Pembangunan terus-menerus yang disokong oleh pelaksanaan proyek konstruksi tiap tahunnya menyebabkan meningkatnya hasil limbah konstruksi yang
dihasilkan. Hal ini dapat diminimalisir dengan melakukan proyek konstruksi berbasis green construction. sayangnya, di Indonesia masih minim tenaga kerja yang kompeten dalan pembangunan berkelanjutan salah
satunya Quantity Surveyor (QS). Untuk itu diperlukan untuk menghasilkan QS yang memiliki kompetensi atau kemampuan yang sesuai dengan penerapan green construction. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami kompetensi yang harus dimiliki oleh QS dalam proyek konstruksi berkelanjutan. Studi ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif melalui literature review jurnal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 7 indikator kompetensi baik dari segi pengetahuan, keterampilan maupun sikap yang wajib dimiliki QS. Hasil penelitian ini dapat digunakan sebagai dasar untuk pengembangan program pendidikan dan pelatihan yang sesuai bagi calon QS serta perbaikan praktik QS dalam industri konstruksi berkelanjutan di Indonesia.
