Peer Review Process

All manuscripts have undergone editorial screening and peer-review process. Each manuscript is evaluated by the editors to see its relevance to the focus, scope, and format of STAIRS. Those manuscripts with irrelevant topics are rejected promptly without external review. Manuscripts with potential interest to our readership are proceeded to reviewers for a double-blind peer review process in which reviewers and authors are not in contact. Revision stages are done several times per the feedback given by the reviewers. The decision is made by the editors based on the reviewers' recommendation from among several possibilities: Decline, Resubmit, Revision, or Acceptance.
