EDUKASI IPS: Jurnal Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial accepts the following types of manuscripts:

Original Research Articles: Scholarly articles presenting original empirical research in social education, particularly social studies education. These articles may employ quantitative, qualitative, or mixed-methods approaches to examine educational practices, learning processes, teaching strategies, curriculum development, and other relevant issues in social studies education.

Literature Review Articles: Articles providing critical, systematic, or comprehensive reviews of relevant scholarly literature on social education and social studies education. These manuscripts should synthesize existing research, identify research gaps, and offer insights or recommendations for future research and educational practice.

Development and Innovation Articles: Articles reporting the development, implementation, and evaluation of educational models, learning media, teaching materials, instructional strategies, assessment instruments, and other innovations intended to improve the quality of social studies education.

Conceptual and Theoretical Articles: Scholarly articles discussing theoretical frameworks, conceptual perspectives, and critical analyses of issues related to social education, social studies education, curriculum, pedagogy, and educational policy.

Classroom Action Research Articles: Articles reporting systematic investigations conducted to improve teaching practices and student learning outcomes in social studies education through cycles of planning, action, observation, and reflection.
All manuscripts must align with the journal’s focus and scope, demonstrate academic rigor, employ appropriate research methods or scholarly analysis, and provide a clear contribution to the advancement of knowledge and practice in social education, particularly social studies education. All submissions are subject to editorial screening and peer review in accordance with the journal’s publication policies.
