Al-Ma‘rifah: Jurnal Budaya, Bahasa, dan Sastra Arab is published by the Institute of Research and Community Service (Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat) of the Universitas Negeri Jakarta, Indonesia, and managed by the Arabic Language Education Study Programme, Faculty of Languages and Arts, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Al-Ma‘rifah has been published twice a year in April and October since 2003 and has gone online by Open Journal System (OJS) Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UNJ) since 2017, it is a multilingual (Bahasa Indonesia, English, and Arabic), peer-reviewed, and specializes in Arabic Studies. The aim is to provide the readers with a better understanding of Arabic Studies and present developments by publishing articles and research reports.
 
The journal invites scholars and experts working in all disciplines in Arabic Studies. Articles should be original, research-based, unpublished, and not under for possible publication in another journal. All submitted papers are subject to review by the editors, editorial board, and blind reviewers. Submissions that violate our guidelines on formatting or length will be rejected without review.
