Writing Guidelines

Jurnal Ilmiah Mimbar Demokrasi

Articles written in the Jurnal Ilmiah Mimbar Demokrasi include research on civic and citizenship education studies in all scientific areas.
1. The script is typed with Microsoft Word program , Times New Roman letter , 12 pt size, with space 1.5, typed on A4 paper for a minimum of 13 to 15 pages and submitted in soft copy to Submisson system, systematic articles: title; author's name, abstract with keyword, introduction, method, result and discussion, conclusion, recommendation and referral list.

2. Title of a maximum of 12 words, full capital , 14 pt font size, center .

3. The name of the author of the article is listed without an academic degree, with the name and address of the institution of origin, and placed under the title of the article. In the case of a script written by a team, the editor only deals with the primary author or author whose name is listed first. Authors should include correspondence and e-mail addresses.

4. Abstracts and keywords are written in two languages (Indonesian and English). Each abstract has a maximum length of 150 words, while the number of keywords is 3-5 words or a combination of words. Abstract contains at least the title of the article, objectives, methods and research results.

5. The introductory section contains the context of the study and the results of the literature review. The entire introductory section is described in an integrated form in paragraphs with a length of 15-20% of the total length of the article.

6. The method part contains the exposure in the form of a paragraph about the research design , data sources, data collection techniques, and data analysis that has been done by the author, with a length of 10-15% of the total length of the article.

7. Section of research result contains exposure result of analysis related to research question. Every research result should be discussed. The discussion contains the meanings of results and comparisons with theories and / or similar research results. The length of exposure results and discussion of 40-60% of the total length of the article

8. The Concluding Section shall contain (1) a conclusion of the research findings in the form of answers to research questions or in the form of a summary of the results of the discussion, and (2) recommendations or suggestions provided for research answers aimed at improving, promoting or developing the field under study.

9. The reference list contains referenced sources. A reference source of at least 80% comes from a scientific journal using the APA model.

10. The article is subject to plagiarsm check using TurnItIn

11. The procedures for presenting quotations, references, tables and drawings follow the provisions of the Guide to Scientific Writing Guidelines using the APA model.

12. All manuscripts are reviewed anonymously by reviewers appointed by the editor (single blind review) in his field of expertise. The author of the article is given the opportunity to make improvements (revised) manuscript on das ar recommendations / suggestions from partners bebestari or editor. Certainty of loading of rejection will be notified in writing.
