Bahtera : Jurnal Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra [ ID : 0000-0002-5718-1610 ] is a double-blind peer-reviewed nasional journal promoting international scholarly exchange among researchers, academics, and professionals. Bahtera : Jurnal Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra is published both in print and online two issues a year (Jan and Jul). The online version is free for access and download. Bahtera : Jurnal Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra carries only original, previously unpublished full-length research and survey articles that reflect the latest research and developments in both theoretical and practical aspects of language and cultural education review. Scopes:

1. Language Education or Language;

2. Applied Linguistics (including sociolinguistics, psycholinguistics, and neurolinguistics) in language education or Applied Linguistics (including sociolinguistics, psycholinguistics, and neurolinguistics);

Focus and Scope

Bahtera : Jurnal Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra adalah jurnal pendidikan bahasa dan sastra  yang dapat diakses publik yang diterbitkan oleh LPPM Universitas Negeri Jakarta.  Jurnal ini berisi hasil penelitian (lapangan atau studi pustaka), kajian teoretis, kajian kritis mengenai pendidikan bahasa dan sastra Indonesia. Jurnal ini diterbitkan dua kali setahun, setiap bulan Januari dan Juli.

History of The Journal

Bahtera : Jurnal Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra published by the Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa, Program Pascasarjana, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Bahtera : Jurnal Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra first published on starting from Volume 13 Nomor 1 Januari 2014. Permission issuance of Bahtera : Jurnal Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra based on ID LIPI : 1180433281 (P-ISSN 0853-2710) (E-ISSN 2540-8968)

In the beginning, Bahtera : Jurnal Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra using Joomla system, a free and open source content management system (CMS) written using PHP and MySQL database for internet or intranet. Furthermore, with the policy of Kemristekdikti which requires all journals in Higher Education to switch to Open Journal System (OJS), then start Volume 13 Nomor 1 Januari 2014, Bahtera : Jurnal Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra migration to OJS version. The change also followed the change of website address Bahtera : Jurnal Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra. Furthermore, Bahtera : Jurnal Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
