Generative AI Policy

Fire Society Journal upholds academic integrity through the following rules on generative AI usage:
  • Allowed Usage: AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini) may only serve as language assistants to improve grammar, clarity, technical translation, or organize non-scientific text.
  • Prohibited Usage: AI must not be used to generate core scientific content, ideas, methodologies, data, analysis, conclusions, or substantive manuscript sections.
  • Disclosure Requirement: Authors must transparently declare any AI use in the Acknowledgements section, specifying the tool name and the extent of its assistance.
  • Author Accountability: Authors retain full responsibility for the manuscript's originality, data accuracy, and citation validity. Failure to disclose AI use or presenting manipulated content will result in manuscript rejection.
