Fungsi Keluarga dalam Pemulihan Trauma Anak Korban Kekerasan Seksual: Analisis Film Hope (2013)

Abstract
This study aims to describe the traumatic representation of child sexual violence in the film Hope (2013), analyze the function of the family in helping the trauma recovery of child victims of sexual violence through a semiotic approach, and relate the perspective of family sociology to the function of the family in the recovery process. The method used is qualitative with film text study and literature study, analyzed using Roland Barthes' semiotics. The object of the study is the film Hope (2013). The results show that the representation of child trauma is visualized symbolically through scenes that reflect fear, loss of security, and psychological impacts. The prominent family functions include affection, protection, and socialization, which play an important role in the recovery process. The interpretation of the film through the construction of meaning strengthens the findings of this study.
