This study examines the extent to which the claim of Tebet Eco Park as an inclusive urban park, following its revitalization, is realized in practice, and how persons with disabilities experience and interpret the park as a social space. Employing a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, direct observation, documentation, and literature review involving five persons with disabilities and triangulation informants from the Jakarta City Parks and Forestry Agency, park management, and non-disabled visitors. The findings reveal that while the revitalization primarily emphasized ecological and aesthetic improvements, the inclusivity dimension remains limited. Barriers identified include uneven guiding blocks, insufficient tactile information, and restricted accessibility of facilities. Despite these challenges, persons with disabilities continue to use the park as a site of social reproduction through recreational activities, adapting to spatial constraints in various ways. Conceptually, the study positions urban parks as social spaces in the process of becoming inclusive, highlighting the gap between the official representation of inclusive space and the lived experiences of users with disabilities. These insights contribute to the theoretical discourse on Lefebvre’s production of space and provide practical recommendations for policymakers and urban planners to strengthen accessibility and equity in public space design.
