Penyuluhan Pencegahan Bahaya Narkotika untuk Remaja SMP Negeri 158 Jakarta

Abstract

Adolescents represent an age group that is particularly vulnerable to narcotics abuse, as they are in a transitional developmental phase that exposes them to social pressures and misinformation. This community service initiative aims to enhance students’ knowledge, awareness, and skills in preventing narcotics abuse through an integrated outreach program at SMP Negeri 158 Jakarta. The activities are conducted in the form of educational sessions, role-play simulations, stress management training, and interactive forums employing participatory approaches. Evaluation is carried out using pre-tests and post-tests to measure the effectiveness of the outreach, assessing gains in participants knowledge of narcotics abuse. The results showed a significant positive impact of the intervention, with post-test mean scores higher than pre-test mean scores. This finding suggests that the program successfully strengthened their understanding of anti-drug prevention and able to spread this knowledge across the school and surrounding community
