Abstract

Materi Komitmen kebangsaan dalam pembelajaran PPKn  berfokus pada upaya mewujudkan cita-cita nasional dan membangun wawasan kebangsaan. Namun, banyak guru PPKn menghadapi tantangan dalam menyampaikan materi dengan efektif. Salah satu permasalahan umum adalah penggunaan model pembelajaran konvensional yang hanya mengedepankan penjelasan satu arah tanpa adanya interaksi dengan siswa, menyebabkan keterlibatan siswa yang rendah dan pemahaman yang terbatas. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menyarankan penggunaan model pembelajaran SQ3R (Survey, Question, Read, Recite, Review) sebagai solusi untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut. Dengan metode kuasi-eksperimen dan pendekatan kuantitatif, peneliti menjelaskan pengaruh signifikan dari model pembelajaran SQ3R terhadap peningkatan pemahaman siswa pada materi komitmen kebangsaan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelompok siswa yang menerapkan model SQ3R (kelompok eksperimen) dan kelompok yang tidak (kelompok kontrol), dengan nilai thitung > ttabel (2,743 > 1,678) dan taraf signifikansi 0,08 > 0,05
