Abstract

Abstrak

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui bentuk implementasi sikap toleransi antar umat beragama di kalangan masyarakat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengambilan data observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data dan kesimpulan untuk menganalisis data sehingga menghasilkan kesimpulan. Uji keabsahan data menggunakan perpanjangan pengamatan dan triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa implementasi sikap toleransi antar umat beragama berjalan dengan baik. Bentuk implementasi sikap toleransi antar umat beragama di kalangan masyarakat ditandai dengan adanya penerapan sikap toleransi dalam kehidupan sehari-hari yaitu tidak memaksakan kehendak orang lain untuk mengikuti kepercayaan yang kita miliki, saling menghargai dan menghormati ketika pemeluk agama lain sedang melakukan ibadah atau upacara keagamaan, mengakui adanya perbedaan serta kesadaran masyarakat yang saling membantu ketika pemeluk agama lain sedang mengalami kesulitan. Seperti melakukan kegiatan yang mewujudkan sikap toleransi antar umat beragama yaitu kegiatan gotong royong bersama, jumat bersih, dan bentuk penyajian makanan. Selain itu juga adanya kesadaran masyarakat untuk saling menghargai, dan tradisi dari nenek moyang yang masih kental sehingga masyarakat masih saling menghargai.
