Konsep Kekuasaan Menurut Niccolò Machiavelli (Tinjauan Etika Politik atas Pesta Demokrasi Pemilihan Presiden dan Wakil Presiden di Indonesia 2024)

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji konsep kekuasaan menurut Niccolò Machiavelli dan relevansinya dalam konteks etika politik pada pemilihan Presiden dan Wakil Presiden Indonesia tahun 2024. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, penelitian ini menelusuri pandangan Machiavelli tentang kekuasaan, terutama dalam karya utamanya, "Il Principe", yang menekankan pragmatisme, realisme politik, dan justifikasi penggunaan cara-cara yang dianggap tidak etis demi mencapai tujuan politik. Analisis ini kemudian diterapkan untuk menilai dinamika etika politik selama pesta demokrasi 2024 di Indonesia, yang seringkali diwarnai dengan strategi-strategi politik praktis yang mirip dengan pandangan Machiavellian. Hasil dan temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa banyak aspek kampanye dan strategi politik kandidat dalam pemilu 2024 mencerminkan prinsip-prinsip Machiavellian, seperti manipulasi, propaganda, dan penggalangan kekuatan melalui aliansi politik. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pemahaman yang lebih mendalam tentang konsep kekuasaan Machiavellian dapat memberikan wawasan kritis terhadap praktik etika politik di Indonesia dan mendorong diskusi lebih lanjut tentang moralitas dalam politik di Indonesia.
