We are pleased to present the latest issue of the Jurnal Penelitian dan Pengukuran Psikologi (JPPP), featuring scholarly contributions that advance the field of psychology, particularly in psychological measurement and assessment. This issue places a strong emphasis on the development and adaptation of psychological measurement instruments, including instrument construction, validity and reliability testing, and the development of measurement methods tailored to the needs and characteristics of diverse populations. The articles employ a range of psychometric approaches, including the Rasch Model, Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA), Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA), and Differential Item Functioning (DIF) analysis, reflecting the diversity of methodological approaches used to evaluate and strengthen the psychometric properties of psychological instruments.
In addition to methodological diversity, this issue reflects the geographical diversity of scholarly contributions, with authors representing various regions of Indonesia, spanning from Aceh to East Java. This geographical representation highlights the growing engagement of researchers across the country in advancing psychological measurement research.
