ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini menjelaskan adanya pelanggaran-pelanggaran nilai fair play dalam olahraga yang terjadi pada penyelenggaraan 31st SEA Games 2022 Hanoi, Vietnam baik dalam persiapan penyelenggaraan maupun pada saat pelaksanaan penyelenggaraan. SEA Games kali ini merupakan SEA Games yang ke 31, hal ini seharusnya dapat menggambarkan peningkatan kualitas penyelenggaraan Pesta Olahraga Asia Tenggara ini yang semakin baik namun sebaliknya masih terdapatnya tindakan kecurangan yang dilakukan dengan unsur kesengajaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus. Sampel penelitian ini menggunakan atlet dan pelatih dari 15 (lima belas) cabang olahraga yang ikut serta sebagai kontingen SEA Games 2022 Hanoi dan data-data hasil pertandingan maupun sebelum pelaksanaan pertandingan yang memperkaya analisa kajian tentang pelanggaran nilai-nilai fair play dalam pelaksanaan penyelenggaraan SEA Games kali ini. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan terdapatnya pelanggaran nilai-nilai fair play sebelum dan saat pelaksanaan penyelenggaraan SEA Games 2022 Hanoi. Pelanggaran yang terjadi dalam persiapan penyelenggaraan yakni dalam penetapan cabang olahraga dan nomor pertandingan dimana nomor yang dipertandingkan/dilombakan masih didominasi nomor-nomor non Olympic games yang diperuntukan menjadi potensi medali tuan rumah. Pelanggaran nilai fair play saat penyelenggaraan disimpulkan yakni 1) Perlakuan tidak adil oleh wasit, 2) Atlet atau ofisial negara lain tidak menerima hasil pertandingan, 3) Perolehan medali emas bersama pada cabang olahraga, 4) Perberdaan jarak perolehan medali emas Rank 1 dan Rank 2.

ABSTRACT
This study explains that there were violations of the value of fair play in sports that occurred during the 31st SEA Games 2022 Hanoi, Vietnam both in preparation for the event and during the implementation. The SEA Games this time is the 31st SEA Games, this should be able to illustrate the improvement in the quality of organizing the Southeast Asian Games which is getting better but on the contrary there are still acts of fraud committed with an element of intent. This research uses a descriptive research type using a case study approach. The research sample used athletes and coaches from 15 (fifteen) sports that took part as contingent for the SEA Games 2022 Hanoi and data on match results as well as before the competition which enriched the analysis of studies on violations of fair play values in the implementation of the SEA Games. this time. The results of the study concluded that there were violations of fair play values before and during the 2022 Hanoi SEA Games. Violations that occurred in the preparation for the implementation, namely in the determination of sports and competition numbers where the numbers contested/contested were still dominated by non-Olympic games numbers which were intended to become potential medals for the host. Violations of the value of fair play at the time of the implementation were concluded namely 1) Unfair treatment by the referee, 2) Athletes or other country officials did not accept the results of the competition, 3) Winning gold medals together in sports, 4) Difference in distance between Rank 1 and Rank 2 gold medals .
