History of The Journal

The first volume of the Jurnal Statistika dan Aplikasinya was published in 2017. This journal is managed by the Statistics Department of the Faculty of Mathematics and Sciences at the State University of Jakarta (UNJ). Beginning in 2018, the journal adopted a new e-ISSN and is now published online at http://journal.unj.ac.id/unj/index.php/statistika, under the supervision of LPPM UNJ.

Jurnal Statistika dan Aplikasinya has undergone several important changes as part of its continuous improvement toward internationalization and better editorial management.

To enhance accessibility and broaden readership, the journal language has officially changed from Bahasa to English. This policy aims to attract more international authors and readers, as well as to increase the journal’s visibility in global indexing databases.

In addition, the journal template and layout have been updated to comply with the latest publication standards and to provide a more consistent and professional appearance. This change includes updates in article structure, citation format, and author guideline sections.

These adjustments were made to support the journal’s commitment to maintaining high academic standards. The editorial team of Jurnal Statistika dan Aplikasinya remains dedicated to publishing high-quality research articles in statistics and their applications across various fields.
