Jurnal Konversi Energi dan Manufaktur is a national electronic journal using by the peer review system. This statement is to clarify ethical behavior from all parties involved in the publication of article manuscripts in this journal, including the author, Chief Editor, Editorial Board, Mitra Bestari, and Publisher. It's based on rules COPE’s Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors.

Ethics Guide for Journal Publishers

The publication of the scientific article through the Jurnal Konversi Energi dan Manufaktur peer-review is the main thing to informing scientific articles that have credibility and a sense of responsibility for carrying out scientific development which is described in detail by the author. Moreover, the article also directly describes the quality of the author's efforts, and the institution of origin is a reliable author with their scientific development to inform the public. Reliable scientific methods support scientific articles that are reviewed using a peer-reviewed system. Therefore, it's essential for the existence of agreement rules to the parties involved in the publication of scientific articles, including Authors, Journal Editors, Reviewers, Publisher, and the Community.

Journal Publication Decisions

Editor Ethics

The editor of Jurnal Konversi Energi dan Manufaktur has the responsibility to decide which type of article suitable for the scope and topics of Jurnal Asiimetrik to be published. Validation of scientific articles in the form of questions regarding the importance of the level of originality of the text to researchers and readers being the main point into editors' decisions. Editors can make decisions following the guidelines of the Journal Editorial Board Policy Rules and legal restrictions on libel, copyright, and plagiarism. Editors can discuss with other editors in terms of making this decision.

Honesty

An editor when in evaluating the intellectual content of the manuscripts to overlook race, gender, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, ethnic origin, nationality, or author political principles.

Classified

All editors and editors’ staff shouldn’t disclose any information regarding the manuscripts to another part of the corresponding author, peer-to-peer, potential peer-to-peer, editorial boards, and publishers who have been previously appointed to undertake their respective responsibilities.

Disclosure of Interest Conflict

The unpublished and unexpressed material in the manuscript during the peer-review process into Jurnal Konversi Energi dan Manufaktur is not permitted to be used in editors research without the author consent

Contribution to Editorial Decision

The peer-review process carried out by Peer-Reviewers can help editors in making editorial decisions, and through the editorial communication with the authors can also help writers improve the quality of manuscripts.

Accuracy

Every Peer-Reviewers who feel ineligible to review the manuscripts that entered into the Jurnal Konversi Energi dan Manufaktur or review process carried out by Peer-Reviewers has taken a long time to inform the Editorial Boards regarding this matter and request permission from the review process concerned.

Classified

Every manuscript which received to the review process by Mitra Bestari must be treated as confidential documents. Manuscripts can't be shown or discussed with other parties, except as has been permitted by the editor.

Standard Level of Objectivity

The process of reviewing manuscripts must be carried out objectively. Interpersonal criticism of the author is not acceptable to do. Mitra Bestari should clearly express their views on the manuscripts using supporting arguments.

References Review

Peer-Reviewers must identify references that have a relationship with unwritten manuscripts by authors in regards. Relevant quotations must accompany every statement, question, argument that has been written before. Peer-Reviewers can also request the assistance of the Editorial Boards to check about the similarities or overlaps regarding the substantial results between the manuscripts that are going through the peer review process with scientific articles that were published before.

Disclosure of Interest Conflict

The value of update and information or new ideas in the manuscripts, which is produced from the peer review process and unused personally by Peer-Reviewers to profit. Peer-Reviewers can't consider manuscripts that have a conflict of interest that could cause competition, collaboration, or other relationship with any author, company, or institution connected to the manuscript.

Author Ethics

Manuscript

Research manuscript authors must present an accurate report of the work performed as well as a significant objective discussion. The primary data presented must be accurately written. Manuscripts must contain detailed results and methods as well as sufficient references to enable others to follow the work. False or inaccurate statements are unethical and unacceptable behavior.

Data Access and Data Storage

The authors are asked to provide primary data relating to the reviewed manuscripts by the Editorial Boards and must provide publication access to these data (must be consistent with ALPSP-STM statements regarding databases) if possible and under the circumstances must be ready to store data at any time if asked to be published.

Authenticity and Plagiarism

Authors must ensure that they have completely written an original work, and if the author is using the works or word of others, then the author must quote it appropriately.

Multiple Publication or Concurrent Publication of The Manuscript

An author can’t generally publish a manuscript that describes the same research in more than one journal. It’s unethical and unacceptable to enter the same manuscripts into more than one journal.

Sources of Acknowledgments

Acknowledgments for the assistance of others must always be given. Authors must cite publications that influence in determining the characteristics of the manuscripts written.

The Role of The Author in t=The Manuscript

Author teams should be limited to those who have contributed significantly to the concept, design, implementation, or explanation of the manuscripts submitted to the journal. All those who contributed significantly must be registered co-authors; if other parties have participated in certain substantive aspects of the research project, they must be recognized or registered as contributors. The lead author must ensure all contributing and non-contributing authors to be manuscripts. All authors are written simultaneously, must see and agree to the finalized version of the manuscript for submission of publication.

Risk of Harm To Human or Animal Subjects

Suppose the research involves chemicals, procedures, or equipment that have a risky hazard and are not usually attached to it. In that case, the author must explain in detail their identity in the manuscript.

Disclosure of Interest Conflict

All authors must disclose in their manuscript any financial or another substantive conflict of interest that could be construed to affect the results or interpretation of their manuscript. All sources of financial support for the research should be disclosed.

Fundamental Errors in Published Manuscripts

When an author finds significant errors or coincidences in his published work that is the author's obligation to immediately notify the Editorial Board of the journal or publisher and work with the Editorial Board to retract or correct the manuscript.
