Ethic Statement
Jurnal Riset Sains dan Kimia Terapan has ethic statements are based on COPE's Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors, Duties of Reviewer, and Duties of Author.

Authorship Criteria
JRSKT follows internationally recognized principles of authorship. All individuals listed as authors must have made substantial contributions to the conception or design of the work, or the acquisition, analysis, or interpretation of data; contributed to drafting or critically reviewing the manuscript; approved the final version for publication; and agreed to be accountable for the accuracy and integrity of the work. Individuals who do not meet all authorship criteria should be acknowledged as contributors where appropriate. Authorship order is determined collectively by the authors, while the corresponding author is responsible for communication with the journal and confirming that all authors have approved the manuscript.
Research Misconduct
JRSKT is committed to maintaining research integrity and does not tolerate research misconduct, including fabrication, falsification, plagiarism, duplicate or redundant publication, authorship misconduct, citation manipulation, peer-review manipulation, undisclosed conflicts of interest, and violations of research ethics. Allegations of misconduct will be assessed fairly, confidentially, and based on available evidence. Where appropriate, the journal may request clarification or supporting evidence from the authors, consult relevant experts, and contact the authors' affiliated institution. Confirmed cases may result in rejection, correction, retraction, an Expression of Concern, or referral to the relevant institution or authority.
Corrections and Retractions Policy
Jurnal Riset Sains dan Kimia Terapan (JRSKT) is committed to maintaining the accuracy, transparency, and integrity of the scholarly record. Therefore, the journal provides mechanisms for correcting, clarifying, or retracting published articles when errors or ethical concerns are identified.
A correction may be issued when an error is identified in a published article but does not invalidate the overall findings or conclusions of the study. Corrections may concern factual errors, author information, tables, figures, references, or other information that requires amendment.
A retraction may be considered when there is clear evidence that an article or a substantial part of its findings is unreliable. Grounds for retraction may include, but are not limited to:
1. major errors that invalidate the findings or conclusions;
2. fabrication or falsification of research data;
3. plagiarism or substantial duplication of previously published work;
4. serious violations of research ethics;
5. manipulation of the publication or peer-review process; or
6. other circumstances that substantially compromise the integrity or reliability of the published work.
In cases where serious concerns have been identified but the available evidence is insufficient to determine whether an article should be corrected or retracted, the journal may publish an Expression of Concern while further investigation is conducted.
Corrections, Expressions of Concern, and retractions will be clearly identified and linked to the original article whenever possible. Retraction notices will state the article concerned and the reason for the retraction. The original publication record will remain accessible where appropriate, with a clear indication of its corrected or retracted status, in order to preserve transparency and the integrity of the scholarly record.
Authors who discover a significant error in their published article are expected to promptly notify the Editor-in-Chief of JRSKT. The editorial team will assess the reported issue and, when necessary, consult the authors, reviewers, institutional representatives, or other relevant experts before determining the appropriate editorial action.
Post-Publication Discussion Policy
Jurnal Riset Sains dan Kimia Terapan (JRSKT) supports constructive and evidence-based post-publication discussion as an important component of scholarly communication.
Readers, researchers, and authors may raise questions, provide comments, request clarification, or submit additional information concerning articles that have already been published in JRSKT.
Concerns regarding potential errors, methodological issues, data inconsistencies, or other matters that may affect the interpretation or reliability of a published article may be submitted to the editorial team through the journal's official contact channels.
The editorial team will assess submitted concerns objectively and based on the available evidence. Where appropriate, the Editor may:
1. request clarification from the authors;
2. seek advice from reviewers or subject-matter experts;
3. request additional data or supporting documentation;
4. publish an editorial note or correction;
5. publish an Expression of Concern while an investigation is ongoing; or
6. consider retraction when there is sufficient evidence that the published work is unreliable.
Post-publication comments should be scientific, factual, relevant, and constructive. Comments that contain personal attacks, unsupported allegations, defamatory statements, or material unrelated to the scientific content of the article may not be considered for publication.
Authors will be given a reasonable opportunity to respond to substantive questions or criticisms concerning their published work.
Differences in scientific interpretation or legitimate scholarly disagreement do not, by themselves, constitute grounds for correction or retraction. The journal distinguishes between legitimate academic debate and concerns that may affect the reliability or integrity of the published research.
JRSKT aims to ensure that post-publication discussion contributes to the improvement of scientific communication while maintaining the accuracy, transparency, and integrity of the scholarly record.

Upon receiving an allegation, the editorial team may:
1. request an explanation from the author(s);
2. request relevant research data or supporting documentation;
3. examine the published article and related materials;
4. consult reviewers, editors, or appropriate subject-matter experts;
5. contact the authors' affiliated institution or relevant research organization when necessary; and
6. take appropriate post-publication action based on the findings of the assessment or investigation.
All allegations will be handled as confidentially as reasonably possible during the assessment and investigation process. The journal will seek to protect the rights and interests of all parties involved while maintaining the integrity of the editorial process.
Where evidence establishes that misconduct has occurred or that a published article is unreliable, JRSKT may take appropriate editorial action, including the publication of a Correction, Expression of Concern, or Retraction, depending on the nature and severity of the issue.
Where formal institutional investigation is required, the journal may communicate with the relevant institution or research organization and cooperate with legitimate investigations.
JRSKT will not conclude that research misconduct has occurred solely on the basis of an unsupported allegation. Editorial decisions will be based on available evidence, appropriate opportunities for clarification, and principles of fairness and due process.

JRSKT is committed to the long-term preservation and accessibility of its published scholarly content. The journal uses Open Journal Systems (OJS) and maintains electronic backups of published articles and associated metadata. JRSKT preserves its digital content through the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN), which uses distributed digital preservation based on the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) approach. This ensures that the published scholarly record is preserved and remains accessible in the event of technical failure or discontinuation of the journal. Corrections, retractions, and other post-publication changes are documented to maintain the integrity and transparency of the scholarly record.
