Prossessing Charge

SASKARA: Indonesian Journal of Society Studies publishes all articles in a fully open access format, ensuring that the scientific community and the general public have free, unlimited, and immediate access to all content as soon as it is published online. This aligns with the principles of the Budapest Open Access Initiative.

SASKARA: Indonesian Journal of Society Studies does not generate income from selling subscriptions, charging "pay-per-view" fees, or restricting access to its articles. To cover the costs associated with editorial processes, peer review, production, and online hosting, SASKARA: Indonesian Journal of Society Studies collects an Article Processing Charge (APC).

  • APC Details:
    • The APC is  IDR 0 (free).
    • APCs are only payable once an article has successfully passed peer review and has been accepted for publication.
    • Submission to SASKARA: Indonesian Journal of Society Studies is free of charge, and no fees are incurred during the initial submission or review process.

SASKARA: Indonesian Journal of Society Studies is committed to transparency in all author charges:

  • No hidden charges: Authors are not required to pay submission fees, editorial processing fees, page charges, or color charges.
  • Fee waivers: Authors who are unable to pay the APC may request a waiver. Waivers are considered on a case-by-case basis and must include details such as the reason for the request and the time period for which the waiver applies.

This approach ensures that SASKARA: Indonesian Journal of Society Studies maintains a high standard of scholarly publishing while remaining accessible and inclusive for authors worldwide.
