in this edition, discusses various topics related to educational innovation and management, both from a contemporary and historical perspective. Some articles highlight the role of leadership, such as the principal's contribution to the implementation of Merdeka Belajar Curriculum at SMK Negeri 2 Jayapura, as well as the influence of leadership competence, staff involvement, and facilities on the performance of educational institutions. Others review the transformation of higher education in the digital era, especially the management of information systems to improve the efficiency and quality of learning.
Local-based innovations are also highlighted, such as the development of local wisdom-based literacy modules with the Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) approach and the integration of educational technology (Edtech) in primary school management to improve literacy, with case studies in Indonesia and Finland. Other articles discuss the optimization of academic services in universities through the Quality Function Deployment (QFD) approach and Servqual method.
On the other hand, some articles explore the impact of policies, such as student perceptions of the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) Program in improving the quality of graduates, as well as colonial regulations related to Christian education in Indonesia before the Ethical Politics era. Another historical study discusses K.H. Agus Salim's contribution to education management in Koto Gadang in the early 20th century, demonstrating the role of local figures in advancing education. Overall, these articles provide deep insights into education management, digital transformation, and the relevance of local and historical values in education development.
