Dear Author/Researcher,

Since 2020, Jurnal Pensil has been published 3 times a year, in January, May, and September.

We invite papers for Volume 14 No. 2 May 2025 from lecturers, researchers, students, practitioners, and academicians.

Important dates are as follows:
Last Date for Paper Submission: March 31, 2025

Publication Date: May 31, 2025

Submitted papers must be written in full English, use a minimum of 40 references, use up-to-date templates, and use Reference Software Mendeley, for an initial screening by editors and further review process by at least two anonymous reviewers.

The guidelines for authors are available here. Papers that do not meet the basic requirements of author guidelines will not be further processed.
Article Processing Charge (APC) Discounts:
To encourage global collaboration, we are pleased to offer the following APC discounts:
- 50% APC discount for the corresponding author from outside Indonesia.
- 25% APC discount for Indonesian corresponding authors collaborating with at least one international co-author.

Notification of OJS Upgrade and Server Migration at UNJ

2024-08-13

In line with the planned upgrade of the Open Journal System (OJS) and server migration, the Research and Community Service Institute (LPPM) of UNJ, through UPT TIK, will deactivate the UNJ OJS from August 17 to August 31, 2024.

The backup of all journals hosted at UNJ will be conducted by the UPT TIK team, with a checkpoint scheduled on August 17, 2024, at 00:00 WIB.

We sincerely apologize to our readers, authors, and prospective authors for any inconvenience this may cause. Thank you for your attention and cooperation.

Important Announcement: Increase in Article Processing Charge (APC) and Changes to Manuscript Templates

Dear author,

We are pleased to bring essential updates to your attention.

Beginning with the May 2024 edition, the Article Processing Charge (APC) will be increased to IDR 750,000. This decision will support our journal's operation costs and continue providing high-quality academic materials.

Additionally, there will be slight changes to the format of the manuscript templates from the same period. The new templates can be checked in the 'Manuscript Template.'

For more details on these changes, please refer to our journal website. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation and promise to work hard to advance our journal.

Based on the Decree of the Director-General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology Number 158/E/KPT/2021 regarding the Accreditation Ranking of Scientific Journals Period I of 2021, the Jurnal Pensil : Pendidikan Teknik Sipil won 3rd place (SINTA 3) from Volume 8 Number 1 of 2019 to Volume 12 Number 2 the Year 2023.
