Practice of Fashion and Textile Education Journal (ISSN: 2798-5407) is a research-based journal published by the Faculty of Engineering in collaboration with the Institute for Research and Community Service, Universitas Negeri Jakarta, Indonesia. The journal is published twice a year, in March and September, and has been in circulation since 2021.

The journal focuses on research articles that explore the application of various contemporary designs in the fashion industry. It covers a wide range of topics, from design theory to its impact on education, technology, the economy, the environment, society, and culture.

In line with its scope, the Practice of Fashion and Textile Education Journal welcomes multidisciplinary articles related to fashion/clothing, design and business, arts and culture, as well as other disciplines within the social sciences.
