Peningkatan Kompetensi Guru Melalui Pembuatan Buletin Digital Berbasis Canva sebagai Media Pembelajaran di SMPN 133 Jakarta

This community service activity aims to enhance teachers’ competence in developing innovative learning media through the creation of Canva-based digital bulletins at SMP Negeri 133 Jakarta, located on Pramuka Island, Kepulauan Seribu. This activity was motivated by the limited use of digital media in learning and the need to improve teachers’ skills in utilizing educational technology. The implementation method consisted of five stages: data collection, analysis, design, coding, and testing. The data collection stage was conducted to identify teachers’ needs regarding digital learning media, while the analysis and design stages were used to develop bulletin formats suited to the learning context.
The results showed that teachers were able to understand the concepts and steps of creating digital bulletins using Canva and demonstrated improved competence in designing creative, engaging, and relevant learning media based on students’ needs. Teachers also showed the ability to effectively integrate textual and visual elements and apply digital bulletins in teaching and learning activities. This training had a positive impact on enhancing teachers’ digital literacy, creativity, and confidence in innovating with technology. Thus, this activity contributes to improving teacher professionalism and supports the transformation of learning toward more interactive, modern, and technology-based education.
