Model Pariwisata Berkelanjutan Berbasis Kearifan Lokal dalam Mewujudkan Ketahanan Ekonomi Masyarakat Kampung Naga

Abstract

Tourism is a strategic pillar of regional development that must create prosperity and preserve culture. This research aims to analyze the sustainable tourism model based on local wisdom in Kampung Naga and identify the economic resilience of the indigenous community. Kampung Naga, located in a valley (nagawir) that maintains the balance of nature and ancestral traditions (karuhun). This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach thru in-depth interviews and field observations. The main results show that the sustainable model in Kampung Naga is based on three pillars of local wisdom: spiritual connection with ancestors, harmonious relationships with fellow humans, and a balanced relationship between humans and nature. Adherence to these customary rules is manifested in the consistency of the stilt house architecture, the holding of traditional ceremonies, and the preservation of forbidden forests and sacred forests. The economic resilience of the community is supported by food self-sufficiency from sacred organic agriculture, as well as income from tourism. New job opportunities have been created thru HIPANA (Himpunan Pramuwisata Kampung Naga), which serves as a cultural interpreter, and the sale of bamboo handicrafts. This demonstrates that local wisdom has successfully become the main defense against the negative impacts of tourism, ensuring cultural sustainability while also guaranteeing economic resilience based on local identity
