Upaya Meningkatkan Karakter Wirausaha melalui Afiliasi Berbasis E-Commerce di Kalangan Mahasiswa

At present, technological advancement is rapidly accelerating and has had a significant impact on human life, particularly in the economic sector. Indonesia, as one of the most populous countries, faces challenges related to the low public interest in entrepreneurship. This issue arises mainly from the suboptimal utilization of digital technology, especially in fostering entrepreneurship among the younger generation. Therefore, a solution is needed to optimize the use of digital technology, particularly in the economic field. This study employs a descriptive qualitative method with literature review as the data collection technique. The results indicate that the main factors contributing to the lack of interest in entrepreneurship among young people are the absence of entrepreneurial character and a mindset that perceives being an employee as more secure than becoming an entrepreneur. Moreover, the higher risks involved in entrepreneurship contribute to a lack of self-confidence among the younger generation to start their own business. To address this issue, becoming an affiliator in e-commerce can help young people develop entrepreneurial character by fostering integrity and providing training in digital marketing strategies, mentoring in business management, and learning how to overcome risks associated with entrepreneurship. Additionally, being an affiliator can also cultivate a sense of responsibility, innovation, creativity, and adaptability to technological advancements among the younger generation.
