Forest and land fires pose a serious threat to environmental sustainability, community well-being, and regional stability. Solok Selatan Regency, with its vast landscape and diverse ecosystems, is not immune to this potential disaster. This study aims to identify areas vulnerable to forest fires by utilizing spatial-based analysis. The analysis is conducted to understand vulnerability patterns and support more targeted prevention and response efforts. Through a geospatial approach, spatial information on vulnerability levels is presented visually and can serve as a foundation for environmental policy planning. The findings of this study are expected to enhance regional capacity in forest fire mitigation and increase public awareness and preparedness toward the threat of forest and land fires.
