Abstract

The crisis of ecological consciousness is a serious problem that requires a comprehensive solution. Integration of ecological theory, psychology, and sociology in the curriculum of Islamic religious education can be one of the strategies to foster ecological awareness in learners. Environmental problems that threaten human life, it is necessary a curriculum that contains the study of human relations with the environment. The purpose of this study was to identify Islamic values associated with environmental conservation by developing a model of Islamic religious education curriculum that is integrated with the theory of Ecology, psychology, and sociology. The method in this study uses a literature study approach. The results of this study indicate that the integration of ecological theory, psychology, and sociology in the curriculum of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) can help foster ecological awareness among learners. This study emphasizes the importance of Education based on Islamic values to form moral and moral responsibility towards the environment. This research has implications for educators and policy makers in designing more efficient educational programs to increase ecological awareness among the younger generation.
