Abstract

In implementing sports event, the role of the medical team is very important. The medical team here plays a role in maintaining the health of athletes, evaluating health of athlete before training sessions, conditioning, health education, injury prevention, treatment and medical rehabilitation. In Indonesia, especially in Jakarta, there are already many medical personal who handle athletes from various sports, but some of them do not understand about how the way to handling athletes, both regarding the prevention and management of sports injuries, especially while accompanying athletes in national sports events. Seeing this condition, we are moved to conduct training for sports medicine personal in DKI Jakarta to have the ability to accompany athletes in national sports events. This training was held at the KONI DKI Jakarta, Jalan Tanah Abang 1, from April to October 2020 and was attended by 40 participants from various of professional disciplines including; sports masseurs, sports psychologists, exercise therapists, physiotherapists, nutritionists and paramedics. The activity method is carried out through a theoretical approach consisting of material exposure, discussion, and question and answer and a practical approach  consisting of the practice of management sports injuries/maintaining athlete performance and its implementation into training and competitions. Methods of implementing activities using zoom and face-to-face applications. The output of this activity is in the form of improve the competence of Jakarta sports medicine personal in accompanying athletes in national sports events. 

                                                                 

                                                              Abstrak

Dalam suatu penyelenggaraan olahraga prestasi, peranan  tim kesehatan sangatlah penting. Tim kesehatan disini berperan dalam menjaga kesehatan atlet, evaluasi kesehatan atlet sebelum sesi latihan, conditioning, pendidikan kesehatan, pencegahan cedera, pengobatan dan rehabilitasi medik. Di Indonesia, khususnya di Jakarta sudah banyak tenaga kesehatan yang menangani atlet-atlet dari berbagai cabang olahraga, namun beberapa diantara mereka kurang memahami ilmu yang seharusnya mereka kuasai dalam menangani atlet, baik mengenai pencegahan maupun penanganan cedera olahraga terutama selama mendampingi atlet dalam event olahraga nasional. Melihat kondisi ini, kami tergerak untuk mengadakan pelatihan tenaga kesehatan olahraga yang berada di DKI Jakarta agar mempunyai kemampuan selama mendampingi atlet pada event olahraga nasioanal. Pelatihan ini dilaksanakan di gedung KONI DKI Jakarta jalan tanah abang satu, mulai bulan april sampai bulan oktober 2020 dan diikuti 40 peserta dari berbagai disiplin profesi meliputi; sport masseur, psikolog olahraga, ahli terapi latihan, fisioterapis, ahli gizi dan paramedik. Metode kegiatan dilakukan melalui pendekatan teoritis yang terdiri dari pemaparan materi, diskusi, dan tanya jawab dan pendekatan praktek yang terdiri dari prektek penanganan cedera olahraga/pemeliharan performa atlet dan implementasinya ke dalam latihan dan pertandingan. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan dengan menggunakan aplikasi zoom dan tatap muka. Luaran dari kegiatan ini berupa peningkatan kompetensi tenaga kesehatan olahraga DKI Jakarta dalam mendampingi atlet pada event olahraga nasional.
