Study A Study of Senior High Schools' Readiness in Samarinda City to Support the Implementation of the Disaster-Safe Education Unit (SPAB)

Kesiapan dalam pelaksanaan mitigasi bencana di sekolah sangat diperlukan sebagai upaya preventif dan mengurangi risiko bencana yang mungkin terjadi di lingkungan sekolah. Bencana dapat menimbulkan kerugian yang tidak sedikit, baik dari segi materi maupun dampak psikologis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji kesiapan Sekolah Menengah Atas di Kota Samarinda dalam mendukung pelaksanaan Satuan Pendidikan Aman Bencana (SPAB). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan rata-rata skor penilaian diri berdasarkan tiga pilar Program Sekolah Aman Bencana (SPAB): Pilar 1 (Sarana Sekolah Aman) memperoleh skor rata-rata 8 dari 10 poin (67%); Pilar 2 (Manajemen Sekolah) memperoleh skor rata-rata 1 dari 5 poin (8%); dan Pilar 3 (Pendidikan Pengurangan Risiko Bencana/DRRE) memperoleh skor rata-rata 3 dari 6 poin (25%). Hasil penilaian diri secara keseluruhan di ketiga pilar mencapai rata-rata 11 dari 21 poin. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa 8 Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri di Kota Samarinda masih belum siap secara memadai untuk melaksanakan program SPAB, terutama karena masih adanya kekurangan pada Pilar 2 (Penanggulangan Bencana) dan Pilar 3 (Pendidikan Pengurangan Risiko Bencana).
