Focus and Scope of JPPPF

The Jurnal Penelitian & Pengembangan Pendidikan Fisika (JPPPF) is a peer-reviewed journal committed to advancing physics education through innovative research and practical contributions. JPPPF focuses on developing innovative learning media, such as digital and interactive tools, and integrating technologies like virtual and augmented reality to enhance physics teaching and laboratory practices. It also prioritizes research on exploring physics concepts, offering new approaches to understanding fundamental and advanced topics, and fostering interdisciplinary applications in education.

JPPPF also welcomes studies on effective teaching strategies, including experimental and action research, as well as blended and hybrid learning methods tailored for physics. For example, research on learning evaluation and assessment, particularly on the development of assessment tools and innovative approaches for evaluating student outcomes. The journal encourages curriculum and module development submissions, including project-based and problem-based learning, STEM integration, and contextual designs that align with cultural and educational needs.

Furthermore, JPPPF supports the publication of literature reviews and meta-analyses that only provide comprehensive insights into existing research trends, gaps, and opportunities. The authors should give an in-depth analysis, not only a summary. The authors should consider the previous publication if they want to submit a review manuscript; the manuscripts addressing identical or overlapping topics with previously published articles in JPPPF will only be considered for review after a minimum of three years. By emphasizing these areas, JPPPF aims to improve physics education quality and foster innovation in teaching and learning practices.
