About the Journal

COMMUNICATIONS is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to advancing scholarship in communication studies through the publication of original, high-quality research. The journal welcomes interdisciplinary contributions that examine communication phenomena across interpersonal, organizational, media, digital, cultural, political, educational, and strategic communication contexts, with particular attention to contemporary issues and theoretical advancement.

All manuscripts are subject to an initial editorial assessment to ensure alignment with the journal's aims, scope, and publication standards. Eligible submissions proceed through a rigorous single-blind peer-review process involving at least two independent reviewers. Prior to peer review, manuscripts are evaluated using similarity-detection software. The editorial and peer-review procedures adhere to internationally recognized scholarly publishing standards and follow the principles established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Each published article is assigned a DOI and made immediately available under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license.
