About the Journal

The Proceedings of the Doctoral Research Presentation & International Conference on Global Social & Business Transformation (ICGSB) is a peer-reviewed scholarly publication that compiles selected papers presented at ICGSB 2026. Interdisciplinary in nature, the proceedings serve as an academic platform for doctoral students, academics, researchers, industry practitioners, and policymakers to disseminate high-quality research through a rigorous, transparent, and objective review process. Each manuscript has undergone review and editorial evaluation to ensure academic rigor, scholarly contribution, and relevance to current global discourse.

ICGSB 2026 was held in a hybrid format, on-site at Universitas Negeri Jakarta and online, on April 16–18, 2026. The conference was collaboratively organized by the Philippine Women’s University (PWU), the Faculty of Social Sciences and Law (FISH), Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UNJ), Universitas Insan Pembangunan Indonesia (UNIPI), Universitas Ibn Khaldun Bogor, and Universitas Muhammadiyah Cirebon. Carrying the theme “Global Social & Business Transformation: Innovation, Sustainability, and Strategic Leadership in the Digital Era,” the conference brought together contributors from various national and international institutions to discuss interdisciplinary research on business innovation, sustainability practices, digital transformation, strategic leadership, financial resilience, entrepreneurship ecosystems, social and humanities perspectives in business, and educational development.

The conference was supported by an organizing committee of academics and professionals in their respective fields, responsible for planning, coordination, technical implementation, and the publication of conference outputs. ICGSB 2026 featured distinguished speakers. The keynote speakers were Prof. Dr. Felina C. Young, DBA, from the Philippine Women’s University and Prof. Dr. Komarudin, M.Si., from Universitas Negeri Jakarta. The invited speakers were Prof. Dr. Ir. Aisyah Endah Palupi, M.Pd., from LLDIKTI Region VI, Central Java; Prof. Dr. Nina Yulianti, S.P., M.Si., Ph.D., from the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in the Philippines; Dr. Shirley C. Agrupis, Ph.D., from the Commission on Higher Education (CHED); and Prof. Emer. Dr. Barjoyai Bardai from Malaysia University of Science and Technology. The conference also featured Nozomi Kawarazuka from the International Potato Center as a speaker. Their contributions enriched the conference with diverse academic, governmental, and international perspectives.

This volume documents emerging ideas, theoretical advancements, and applied research findings that support sustainable and strategic transformation in an increasingly digital and interconnected world. The proceedings aim to foster academic collaboration, strengthen international research networks, and contribute to knowledge development in social and business transformation studies.
