Published every June and December, this journal focuses on Early Childhood Education (early childhood teachers' carrier, child education in the family, early childhood teachers' courses, in-service teachers and preservice teachers, adult education, parenting program, community education) and Society Education. This journal warmly welcomes  articles contributions from scholars of related disciplines including; literature study, learning evaluation, learning materials development, learning models development, learning media development, class action research, experimental research, qualitative research, quantitative research.

VISI : Jurnal Ilmiah Pendidik dan Tenaga Kependidikan Pendidikan Non Formal provides immediate open access to content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. This journal is an open access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to users or / institution. This means readers are allowed to; read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link full text articles of this journal without asking prior permission from the publisher or author, so long they give proper accreditation / citation. This is in accordance with Budapest Open Access Initiative.

Focus and Scope of The Journal

VISI : Jurnal Ilmiah Pendidik dan Tenaga Kependidikan Pendidikan Non Formal contained results of the research which focused about Early Childhood Education and Society Education from practitioners, academics, researchers, and education observers.

This journal publishes all its articles in full open access format. The scientific community and the general public have, for free, unlimited and immediate access to all content published in VISI : Jurnal Ilmiah Pendidik dan Tenaga Kependidikan Pendidikan Non Formal as soon as it is published on the Internet. This means that VISI : Jurnal Ilmiah Pendidik dan Tenaga Kependidikan Pendidikan Non Formal does not receive any income from selling subscriptions to print or view online versions of its journals or from charging "pay-per-view" fees. Submission to this journal is free of charge.

History of The Journal

VISI : Jurnal Ilmiah Pendidik dan Tenaga Kependidikan Pendidikan Non Formal was first published in printed format (registered P-ISSN 1907-9176) on June 2006 by Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan (FIP) Universitas Negeri Jakarta in cooperation with Direktorat Pendidik dan Tenaga Kependidikan Pendidikan Non Formal, which later changed the name to Direktorat Pembinaan Pendidik dan Tenaga Kependidikan Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini, Nonformal dan Informal renamed for the second time to Direktorat Pembinaan Guru dan Tenaga Kependidikan Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini dan Pendidikan Masyarakat and then recently renamed to Direktorat  Guru dan Tenaga Kependidikan Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini. This journal is available in electronic format with registered E-ISSN 2620-5254 since 2018. Starting in 2021, we only uses electronic ISSN (E-ISSN) in our online articles. The first web address of VISI : Jurnal Ilmiah Pendidik dan Tenaga Kependidikan Pendidikan Non Formal is http://journal.unj.ac.id/jurnalfip/ but in 2017, the web address became http://journal.unj.ac.id/unj/index.php/ jiv/
