We are pleased to present the April 2025 issue (Vol. 14 No. 1) of Jurnal Penelitian dan Pengukuran Psikologi (JPPP), which comprises a diverse array of scholarly articles that reflect contemporary advancements in psychological assessment, intervention, and education. This edition places particular emphasis on themes of inclusivity and mental health across both educational and clinical contexts. One study examines the perceptions of school communities toward students with special needs in inclusive junior high schools in Jakarta, offering meaningful insights into the socio-psychological climate of inclusive education in Indonesia. Several contributions in this issue are dedicated to the development and validation of psychometric instruments. Rigorous statistical and psychometric evaluations were conducted on various measurement tools, including the Depression Literacy (D-Lit) Questionnaire, Organizational Commitment Questionnaire (OCQ), and Moral Injury Scale, among others. These efforts underscore the importance of culturally and contextually appropriate assessment tools in psychological research. In the clinical domain, an innovative intervention is introduced in the form of a one-session therapy for specific phobia, utilizing the Heart Technique demonstrating both brevity and effectiveness in therapeutic application.
Collectively, the articles in this issue contribute to the advancement of evidence-based practices and the refinement of psychological measurement within the Indonesian context and beyond. We invite readers to explore the full content online and continue supporting the growth of psychological science.
