Abstract

This study aims to analyze the workload faced by employees at PT. Asmita Karya
Konstruksi. The background of this study focuses on the role of employees in
carrying out tasks given by the company and how the workload can run in balance
because excessive workload can cause stress and reduce productivity, while too low
workload can cause boredom and reduce work motivation. The factors used in this
study use external factors that include physical and mental tasks given by the
company, while internal factors include the physical and mental conditions of
employees. This study uses a qualitative approach method by conducting
observation, interview, and documentation methods. The study was conducted by
interviewing four employees to obtain data on their experiences and perceptions
related to workload. Data were obtained through direct observation and literature
study. The triangulation technique used to ensure the validity of the data, where the
results of observations, interviews, and documentation are compared with each
other to obtain accurate and accountable information. This study is expected to
provide new insights into how workload is managed in the company, as well as
provide recommendations for company management in improving employee
productivity and welfare.
