Author Guidelines

The author shall use the manuscript template provided by Jurnal Konversi Energi dan Manufaktur. Writing guidelines and templates can be downloaded HERE.

1. The manuscripts submitted to Jurnal Konversi Energi dan Manufaktur should be the original ones that have never been published before.

2. Any manuscripts being processed by Jurnal Konversi Energi dan Manufaktur should be not under consideration for publication in other journals or publications until there is a notification from the Jurnal Konversi Energi dan Manufaktur editorial board.

Submission Criteria

Manuscript submitted for publication in Jurnal Konversi Energi dan Manufaktur should appropriate with the following criteria:

  • Must be written in good English language.
  • Must be within the scope of the journal.
  • Must be original, have not been published elsewhere, and will not be submitted to any journal during the review process.
  • Must be following the journal instructions and have correct style before being considered for reviewing process.

Preparing Manuscript file

Jurnal Konversi Energi dan Manufaktur accepts manuscript in the form of Research article, and Review article. As an approximate guide to length as follows:

  • Research article would not normally exceed 20 pages of single-spaced A4 text.
  • Review article would not normally exceed 30 pages of single-spaced A4 text.

Note: The paper size is A4 with header = 1.25 cm and footer = 1.54 cm. The number of pages minimum is 8 sheets with A4-one-column format. Article margins, top = 2.5 cm, left = 2.5 cm, bottom = 2.5 cm, and right = 2.5 cm

The manuscript must be prepared using word processing software, e.g. Microsoft Word, with document format docx.

Manuscript Structure

Title

Title of the manuscript must be concise and informative. The title of the paper should be in a 14 pt bold Segoe UI and be centered.

Author names and affiliation

Make sure that the author name clearly indicates the given name and family name of each author. Present the authors’ affiliation below the author names. Add a number in superscript letter after the author name and before the appropriate address. Provide the full postal address of each affiliation, including the name of the author’ country and email address. Clearly provide who will handle correspondence at all stages of refereeing and publication and after publication.

Abstract

An abstract must contain background, research objectives, methods, results, and conclusions in between 150-200 words with Segoe UI font type, 9pt, single paragraph. Due to the abstract is occasionally presented separately from the full article, it should be able to stand alone and should not contain references. The use of non-standard or uncommon abbreviations should be avoided, but if necessary, they must be defined as they mentioned in the abstract body.

Keywords

The keyword should be provided immediately after the abstract. It provides a maximum of 5 words which is the keyword of the whole article. These keywords will be used for indexing purpose.

The Main Manuscript Content

The main body of the manuscript should be provided as follows:

  • Introduction
  • Experimental Method
  • Results and Discussion
  • Conclusion

Acknowledgement

Acknowledgement should be provided in a separate section at the end of the manuscript before the references. It should not include on the title page, as a footnote, or otherwise. It also should contain the list of those individuals or institution that provide help during the research.

References

In the text should be given in the form [1], [3-5] etc. Writing a reference using reference manager (IEEE style) is recommended, as entering the DOI (if any). Use primary sources (International journals) of at least 15 citations, with 50% of the 10 previous years.
