Archiving Policy

Digital Archiving

Jurnal Studi Al-Qur’an (JSQ) is committed to the permanent availability and preservation of scientific research and to ensuring accessibility by converting and improving digital file formats to meet the latest technological standards. We use Linux Cron jobs to automate system maintenance and administration, with system file backups performed every Sunday at 01.00 WIB and database backups every day at 00.30 WIB.

Local Archives

Jurnal Studi Al-Qur’an (JSQ) maintains local state-of-the-art facilities for storing complete and accurate digital versions of published papers. The current standard formats are .words and .pdf, with most files saved in both formats. The website archives of all JSQelectronic content (websites and manuscripts) are kept at two different sources. Content is hosted on a single online server (Open Journal Systems) and is accessible to readers. Copies of the same content are kept as backups in other sources.

Self-archiving
Jurnal Studi Al-Qur’an (JSQ) supports self-archiving by allowing and encouraging authors to make their research visible and accessible to peers by uploading the final version of their published article to a personal or institutional repository immediately after publication, while providing bibliographic details crediting, if applicable, the journal for its publication.
