Mitigasi Bencana melalui Penentuan Titik Evakuasi dan Arahan Jalur Evakuasi di Dusun Bogoran, Trirenggo, Kabupaten Bantul

The Special Region of Yogyakarta is one of the regions in Indonesia that is highly vulnerable to earthquake disasters. Given that earthquakes are difficult to prevent entirely, mitigation efforts are crucial to reducing the resulting impacts, including the development of evacuation routes and assembly points. This community service activity aims to determine evacuation points and design effective evacuation routes in Dusun Bogoran, Trirenggo, Bantul Regency. The method employed is a bottom-up approach with a qualitative framework, integrating spatial analysis using ArcGIS and a community-based participatory approach to address field needs. Evacuation route signs were installed at five strategic locations, while three assembly points were designated in open areas that are safe from surrounding structures. The results indicate that evacuation routes in the central and southern areas are in better condition compared to the eastern area, which faces limitations in road width and access. Community perceptions of the evacuation routes and assembly points were generally positive, indicating a good understanding of the importance of disaster preparedness. However, further actions are needed, including infrastructure improvements and the strengthening of community capacity in non-structural mitigation, which should be supported by local government policies to enhance the effectiveness of evacuation efforts in the future.
Abstrak
Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta merupakan salah satu wilayah di Indonesia yang sangat rentan terhadap bencana gempa bumi. Mengingat gempa bumi sulit untuk dicegah sepenuhnya, upaya mitigasi sangat penting untuk mengurangi dampak yang ditimbulkan, termasuk melalui pengembangan jalur evakuasi dan titik kumpul. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk menentukan titik evakuasi dan merancang jalur evakuasi yang efektif di Dusun Bogoran, Kabupaten Bantul. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan bottom-up dengan kerangka kualitatif, yang mengintegrasikan analisis spasial menggunakan ArcGIS dan pendekatan partisipatif berbasis masyarakat untuk menjawab kebutuhan di lapangan. Rambu-rambu jalur evakuasi dipasang di lima lokasi strategis, sedangkan tiga titik kumpul ditetapkan di area terbuka yang aman dari bangunan di sekitarnya. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa jalur evakuasi di wilayah tengah dan selatan berada dalam kondisi yang lebih baik dibandingkan dengan wilayah timur yang memiliki keterbatasan lebar jalan dan akses. Persepsi masyarakat terhadap jalur evakuasi dan titik kumpul secara umum positif, yang menunjukkan pemahaman yang baik mengenai pentingnya kesiapsiagaan bencana. Namun demikian, diperlukan tindak lanjut berupa peningkatan infrastruktur dan penguatan kapasitas masyarakat dalam mitigasi nonstruktural, yang perlu didukung oleh kebijakan pemerintah daerah untuk meningkatkan efektivitas upaya evakuasi di masa mendatang.
