Plagiarism Screening

Jurnal Sarwahita is committed to maintaining academic integrity and does not tolerate plagiarism, including self-plagiarism and other forms of inappropriate reuse of previously published work.

Authors are responsible for ensuring that their submitted manuscripts are original. Any ideas, words, data, or materials taken from other sources must be appropriately cited or quoted. Manuscripts that contain plagiarism, significant self-plagiarism, duplicate publication, or other forms of inappropriate overlap may be rejected or subject to further editorial action.

All submitted manuscripts may be screened for plagiarism or similarity before or during the review process. Jurnal Sarwahita recommends that authors use Turnitin or another reliable plagiarism detection tool to check the originality of their manuscript before submission.

As a general guideline, the similarity score of a submitted manuscript should not exceed 20%. However, the similarity score is not the sole basis for determining plagiarism. The editor will examine the similarity report, including the sources and context of the matched text, before making a decision.

Authors are encouraged to revise and properly cite any substantial similarity identified during the screening process. Manuscripts with excessive or inappropriate similarity may be returned to the authors for revision or rejected, depending on the severity of the case.

By submitting a manuscript to Jurnal Sarwahita, authors confirm that the work is original, has not been published elsewhere, and is not under consideration for publication in another journal. Authors must also comply with the journal's policies concerning duplicate, redundant, and fraudulent publication.

Jurnal Sarwahita reserves the right to take appropriate editorial action if plagiarism or other forms of publication misconduct are identified at any stage of the publication process, including after publication.
