About the Journal

Bioma is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal that publishes original and impactful research in the field of biosciences. The journal provides a multidisciplinary forum for the dissemination of scientific advances in biodiversity, biosystematics, ecology, physiology, behavior, genetics, biotechnology, and other related areas of biological sciences.
The scope of Bioma encompasses all living organisms and biological entities, including microorganisms, fungi, plants, animals, humans, and viruses. Through rigorous peer review and open access to scholarly content, the journal seeks to foster scientific communication, advance biological understanding, and support evidence-based innovations in the life sciences.
Bioma is published biannually in June and December under P-ISSN 0126-3552 and E-ISSN 2580-9032. The journal has received national accreditation from the Indonesian Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, achieving SINTA 4 accreditation (2016–2020) and SINTA 3 accreditation (2022–2026).
