1. Author Guidelines
Hayula: Indonesian Journal of Multidisciplinary Islamic Studies is a multilingual (Bahasa Indonesia, English, and Arabic) peer-reviewed journal published twice a year since 2017. It focuses on Islamic studies in multidimensional perspectives, aiming to promote scholarly discussion and disseminate research findings in Islamic education, theology, Islamic law, social studies, and related fields.
Submission Requirements
- Original, unpublished, and not under review elsewhere.
- Written in Bahasa Indonesia, English, or Arabic, between 10,000–15,000 words.
- Include a 150-word abstract and 5 keywords.
- Quotations in foreign or local languages should be translated into Bahasa Indonesia.
- Submissions must be made electronically via the online system.
Terms from foreign or local languages should be presented in their original form followed by a clear translation in the language of the manuscript. For example: *taqwa* (piety), *urip iku urup* (to live is to give light).

Peer Review Process
Double-blind peer review by at least two reviewers. Decision made by editorial board within approximately three months.
Revision and Resubmission
Revisions must be returned within 3 months through the online system. Late revisions will be considered new submissions.
Copyright & Licensing
Authors retain copyright. Articles are published under CC BY 4.0 license.
Privacy Statement
Author information is used solely for editorial purposes and will not be shared with third parties.

2. SOP: Response to Reviewers Table
To ensure transparency and accountability in the peer review process, authors are required to submit a Response to Reviewers table alongside their revised manuscript. This document should include point-by-point responses to all comments made by the reviewers and indicate the exact location of revisions in the manuscript.
Instructions:
- Respond in English, regardless of manuscript language.
- Use the table format below.
- Clearly explain the revision made.
- Specify the exact location in the manuscript.
